An old favourite, liquid concealers feature high on the list of long-running beauty essentials. These concealers have a runny consistency in comparison to creamy, balm-like concealers, and are generally packaged in tubes.
This widely used concealer type offers a consistent build-up to cover blemishes without looking cakey.
When to use a liquid concealer?
There are two types of liquid concealers: matte and radiant finish. A matte finish concealer lasts longer than the other type, while radiant finish concealers give you that perfect lit-from-within glow.
So, if you have a long day ahead of you, a matte finish liquid concealer would definitely suit you better.
Who should use liquid concealers?
Liquid concealers do not clog pores or aggravate acne, so, they’re best suited for normal, combination, oily and acne-prone skin.
If you suffer from an oily T-zone or consistent acne breakout, liquid concealers would be most helpful – they work best to cover up acne.
But, if you have dry skin, it's best to stay away from liquid concealers - their matte finish could make your skin look patchier.
