Makeup with SPF can provide some sun protection, but it can NEVER replace a dedicated sunscreen. Most makeup products have low SPF, ranging from 15-25 and only protect against UVB rays, but not the more dangerous UVA rays. Using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and reapplying it frequently is the only way to beat the heat, so no short cuts here!
